Amsterdam, Netherlands: Emergency doctor - Lybia (desert)

For our client - private clinic located in Lybia, we are searching for suitable candidates working at post of Emergency doctor. The working place is localized in Lybia´s desert.

Emergency doctors should have the knowledge and skills to provide acute medical care for a wide variety of common injuries and illnesses, as well as to stabilise and refer individuals for specialised care.

Requirements:

- Physician with at least 5 years post-graduate experience in emergency
medicine in a clinical or occupational setting (A&E back ground with Medivac
experience)
- Experience of working at remote sites is essential
- Ability to work in a high security risk environment
- Holds current registration or licensed qualification in home country
- Has Indemnity insurance
- Holds ACLS, ITLS training and certification (within the last year) and re-trains
annually
- Works in off-time in an emergency and primary care setting for 2 days and can
provide evidence of this.
- Self reliant with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels within an organisation
and remain calm in emergency situations. Must be fluent in English and Arabic
- Proficient in computer use and Word, excel, PowerPoint & Internet packages.

Responsibilities:

- Provide emergency medical response, advanced life support and stabilisation
for cases involving trauma, cardiac events, acute illnesses, snake bites and
allergic reactions.

Offer:

- Salary 30 000 euroyear
- Rotation 28 Days on 28 Days Off
- Flight and accomodation expences will be covered by employer.
