Bangkok, Thailand: Furnishing & Home Accessories Industry Advisor
TigerTrade is seeking to hire a Furnishing & Home Accessories Industry Advisor.
TigerTrade (www.tigertrade.com) is a trusted partner network for global trade that connects manufacturers in Southeast Asia to US and international buyers. Responsibilities
• Cultivate leads from target industries and conduct sales outreach to potential TigerTrade members
• Manage process of converting leads to sales, including business vetting and certification
• Develop and maintain partnerships with industry, development, and government organizations
• Manage contacts, including partners, customers, and referrals, in company CRM database system
• Follow-up with in-coming and out-bound sales calls to provide support to potential and existing customers
• Refine sales and marketing processes through analysis and feedback to management team
• Conduct sales presentations and trainings for external audiences
• Represent TigerTrade externally at networking events and trade shows
Qualifications
• 6-10 years of specific industry experience (apparel & textiles)
• Knowledge of and experience with export promotion and international trade
• Large network of manufacturers and industry association contacts
• Experience in sales & marketing
• Experience working with international buyers
• Experience participating in international trade shows
• Have a true entrepreneurial and go-getter attitude
• Experience in an office environment. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator and quick to adapt to new database systems a plus.
• Very organized, efficient, and resourceful, with excellent attention to detail
• Great time management skills, ability to prioritize and handle several projects at one time
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Ability to work as part of a team and also independently with minimum supervision.
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced environment
• Experience with Sugar (or another CRM tool) and social media (including Twitter and Facebook Advertising) a plus
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Thai
