Buenos Aires Capital Federal, Argentina: J2EE System Develop. Engineer

The System Development Engineer "J2EE Enterprise Applications" works as part of a development team on designing and implementing large IT systems in the billing domain.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Analyzes requirements
- Specifies use cases, concept and design
- Hands-on development of Spring & J2EE applications
- Mentors junior team members
- Interfaces with other teams and stakeholders (eg. requirements analysts, test team, architecture team)

Technical/domain skills:
- OO Analysis and Design (incl. UML, use cases)
- Good knowledge of J2EE and related technology space (incl. EJB, XA Transaction Handling, Web Services JAVA, JCA, XML, Xdoclet, XSLT, Spring, Eslipse, Struts, other fameworks, O2R persistence mapping)
- J2EE application servers (preferably JBoss)
- C, C++ background would be a plus
- Databases (Oracle, MySQL) and data modeling
- Unix and Linux
- Deployment architectures and high availability configurations
- Experience integrating systems
- Some knowledge of Middleware technologies
- Telecom and/or billing domain knowledge would be a plus

General skills:
- Substantial job experience
