Major League Gaming (MLG) has immediate positions available for up to four Software Engineers working with our existing team to build the future of competitive gaming. As an engineer at MLG you'll enjoy flexible hours, code hackathons and the opportunity to work in an exciting and fast-paced industry. You'll also enjoy interacting with our legion of screaming fans at our bi-monthly live events.Desired Skills:Ruby on Rails expert level.Experience delivering large, highly available software systems.Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testing.Experience with other web technologies (Ruby, CSS, Javascript, HTML).Experience with NGINX and HAProxy.Experience with Git & SVN.Comfortable with BASH.Experience with MySQL or Postgres.Experience working with Agile development methodologies (XP, Scrum).An understanding of system optimization issues.A self-motivated work process and posses excellent communication skills.Interest in working at or travelling twice yearly to our office in Troy, NY.
