Our client has a strong involvement in natural resources such as Oil Sands, Oil and Gas Services and mining. Within their oil and gas sector they have developed a strong position in China, The Middle East, South East Asia and West Africa. They are a leading international asset support provider, servicing more than 200 facilities daily and have worked in the Middle East for 25 years, providing project management and engineering services to the Kuwait Oil Industry.

They are currently searching the global for a Degree qualified Contracts Manager with a solid Oil and Gas background.

The key duties of this role are explained below:

1. Ensuring the PMC contract is managed and delivered to our clients commercial satisfaction.

2. Ensuring the Pm contract is managed and delivered to KOC commercial satisfaction.

3. Ensuring that key reports carry out their duties and responsibilities in line with their agreed

contract Job Descriptions.

4. Ensuring that key client relationships are maintained at appropriate levels within the project.

5. Ensuring that Assigned Projects are commercially resourced and delivered to satisfactory

quality, time and budget.

Prime responsibilities and duties

1. Prepare and issue monthly Commercial Executive Project Report.

2. Maintain contract commercial records and files.

3. Ensuring Assigned Projects are appropriately resourced.

4. Review all subcontracts prior to and after award by our client to financial closure.

5. Manage commercial aspects of Intercompany Trading Agreements to financial closure.

6. Set contractual direction for Assigned Project Commercial Administrators.

7. Direct KOC EPC contract preparation.

8. Direct commercial aspects of KOC EPC contract tender evaluation and award.

9. Direct KOC EPC contract variations and claims to resolution.

10. Maintain Other Direct Costs log and reports.

11. Participate in key KOC reviews and meetings as required.

12. Participate in weekly Assigned Project reviews.

13. Participate in Project Management Plan reviews.

14. Update and prepare department procedures and work practices as appropriate.

15. Provide leadership, guidance and direction concerning all facets of contract administration.

16. Create and sustain a good contract team spirit within the contract administration team.

17. Conduct annual staff appraisals and recommend salary reviews for the department.

University Degree.

Qualified as Certified Contracts Manager by professional association.

Minimum fifteen years post graduate experience.

Minimum five years experience in the oil and gas, refining and petrochemical industries.

Minimum ten years experience in the designation.
