Jerusalem, Israel: Architect and NGO administrator

WHO is offering the position (dual position):

(a) An Israeli-Greek international NGO with the mission to raise environmental awareness, and activity in more than 10 countries around the world. Primary target group young professionals (architects, designers, landscape architects, etc.) and primary activity international conferences and ‘green’ design workshops in cities around the world. (b) An architect and environmental consultant, who works primarily on small residential projects and consulting on private and public projects, for private, corporate and public clients – including the Ministry of Environmental Protection.



WHAT TASKS are expected:



Administrative tasks, secretarial tasks, organizational tasks, event organization, event implementation, coordination of tasks, coordination of people, project management, fundraising, funding applications, website maintenance, website maintenance online, administer registration process, contact with funding sources, contact with partners local and international, contact with professionals local and international, attending meetings and issue of meeting minutes, architectural drafting, developing, and project management.



WHAT SKILLS are required:

Computer skills: Fluent in computer use. Fluent in use of the internet.

Software: Office, Dreamweaver (or other fttp software), internet search, social media, Autocad, SketchUp, and Photoshop.

Languages: Perfect Hebrew and perfect English. Another language is a plus.



POSITION DETAILS

Work location: Small, one-person office within-house, at Greek Colony (next to German Colony).

Work hours: 9-3 (6 hours daily – overtime, if any, may be requested).

Work days: 5 days per week.

Part-time: 75%.

Monthly salary (all inclusive – incl. travel): 4,000 nis.

Trial / training period: 3 months.

Additional minimum commitment / availability: 12 months.
