Logistic Planner – Amsterdam Amsterdam Region

Create visibility of incoming shipments and availabilities by creating ASN.
Coordinate Vessel schedule, invoices, and work with our 3PL partner to clear the shipment with proper custom code.
Heck all logistics related invoices including custom duty payments;
Share the same responsibilities for demand planning and support demand planning manager. He/She serves as the direct back up when planning manager is out of office;
Perform goods movement in our SAP system;
In case of warehouse space constraint, urgent order, to push for priorities and/or alternatives.

3-4 years experience in Supply Chain planning.
Understanding of demand planning techniques and supply chain processes and systems within a European business;
Assertive with excellent influencing skills – in particular, experience in developing effective relationships with sales and product management teams;
Excellent communications, numerical analysis, PC and spreadsheets skills;
“Hands-on” style – able to demonstrate a track record of identifying and delivering process improvements;
Experience of working within a matrix structure – able to maintain direction without direct supervision;
Fluent in English , both spoken and written, additional European language advantageous;
Experience in SAP and excel database.

Logistics planner covers demand and inbound planning. He/She reports to Demand Planning Manager and also to Sr. Operation Manager. Logistics planner has to be able to operate independently and fully back up Demand Planning manager on the planning function. Daily operation involves inbound coordination and prioritizing; continuously following both supply plan, sold quantity/mix and the demand plan.
