LEAD SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - SAN FRANCISCO, CA AREA

Position will report to the VP of Engineering

- Individual must be able to work well independently as well as in a team environment

- Opportunity is in a start-up environment which requires individuals who are self-starters

- You will lead the development team

- Includes hands on development on client products

- Ability to mentor and give guidance to all respective reports

- Work closely with the VP Engineering to develop plans for the development team

- Improve quality & delivery within the development lifecycle

- Provide 6 mo. reviews for direct reports

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 yrs management within a windows client development environment

- Minimum 5 yrs development background on windows development/products

utilizing C++ & COM with the preference to networked client

development/products

- Solid knowledge of protocols, message API, mail systems on windows

platform

- Must have full development lifecycle for a minimum of two windows client

development/products

- Must have technical lead background with a commercial product

- Hand on development with ability to develop, design, improve, maintain, optimize, test and deploy product

- Must have had prior start-up experience working in a fast pace environment

- Solid knowledge with network protocols (to include layer 3) with network

programming

- Microsoft certification a big plus

- Background with Microsoft Exchange & Outlook development

- Knowledge of .NET framework & C#

- Past experience within internationalized software applications a big plus

- Must be authorized to work in the United States
