Job Summary:
Our client is currently seeking a Retail Marketing Manager for the Consumer Channel /Distribution Division. This position will be based in the Nassau County area.

The Marketing Manager will support sell through activities and assist in the execution of in-store marketing programs to increase the balance of sale and growth of our branded products. The Marketing Manager will support the Senior Marketing and Merchandising Manager, Product Managers, and Business Managers in executing merchandising strategies to increase the growth of our business within national retail store distribution channels. The Marketing Manager will support the sales team to increase profitability.

Responsibilities:
Manages pricing programs, in-store implementation activities/strategies, assists in the development of Consumer Literature, Launch materials, .com, and internal/external marketing resources to maximize product growth and Balance of Sale in our branded at national retailers. Works with category Business Teams to develop effective sales activities and programs. Supports retail merchandising, marketing, needs and requests.

Creates a systemic approach to reporting, information gathering and data analysis, provides monthly reporting of field and merchandising activities. Analyzes, reconciles, balances and maintains marketing fund records; control account’s expenditures and budgets, performs analysis of marketing funds and related systems for accuracy and completeness; makes recommendation for asset spending and expenditure control. Advises management in reporting interpretation of the sell-thru results to find key business implications.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in business related fields with administrative and reporting experience.
• Expertise in retail channel and distribution execution strategy
• Strong merchandising experience with retail background.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Effectively and able to work on cross-functional teams to produce results with limited resources.
• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Action-oriented, self-directed, and a creative problem solver.
• Able to prioritize and quantify the return on investment for key strategic initiatives and programs.
• Overnight/business travel is required as business environment and situations arise.
