Job Description:
Job Summary: The Direct Care Staff – LPN is responsible for assessing clients, documenting observation and assessment data, evaluating outcomes, and implementing the nursing plan of care. Implements the medical plan of treatment and follows physician’s orders. May provide hands-on, direct clinical care. Receives clinical direction and oversight from a Registered Nurse. Performs duties within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act regulations, the State Board of Nursing, and policies and procedures of the company.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school/college of School of Practical Nursing with current registration in state of primary work site location as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) required. Two years experience as an LPN required at a minimum. Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required. LPN must never have been shown by credible evidence (for example, a court or jury, a department investigation, or other reliable evidence) to have abused, sexually assaulted, exploited, or deprived any person or to have subjected any person to serious injury as a result of intentional misconduct as evidenced by an oral or written statement to this effect at the time of application.

Must meet all agency requirements for pre-employment as required by ResCare and/or state regulations.
