Qatar Petroleum learning centres provides internationally recognised and accredited education and training to employees and students of Qatar Petrochemical Plants. They are currently looking for Process Chemical Engineering Instructors with hands on practical experience in Petrochemical Plants (on and off shore) to provide technical training to Trainee Process Technicians who will carry out Maintenance tasks in the Oil and Gas field. Successful applicants will be responsible for teaching Qatari Nationals TAFE Certificates I – IV in Process Chemical Engineering subjects. Current Teaching staff is made up of people from many different nationalities and Westerners are encouraged to apply.

Essential criteria for these teaching roles are Hands-on Petrochemical experience and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Vacancies are for applicants who have an area of specialty relating to Process Chemical Engineering.

We are looking for instructors who have a genuine interest in working with students to provide support, guidance, inspiration and motivation throughout the educational experience as many students progress on to Higher Education. Ideally, you will have a sound understanding of TAFE course structure and delivery, although not essential, this will be highly regarded.

To Be Successful You Will Require:

* Diploma (or higher) in Process Chemical Engineering

* Hands On Petrochemical (Oil and Gas) Experience

* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

* Vocational / Industry Training Experience

* Excellent English Communication Skills (all training conducted in English)

* Excellent personal presentation and grooming and a strong work ethic

Conditions of Employment:

* Tax Free Salary paid monthly in Qatar Rial - salary is dependant on experience and qualifications and ranges from QAR 17,200 – 20,250 per month

* 12 Month Contract (renewable)

* Annual return flight home

* Health and Medical Insurance

* Fully furnished accommodation including utility costs and fast connection internet

* Optional company provided transport or allowance - QAR 1,250 per month
