Job Description:

This person will be helping to setup the test and characterization infrastructure for the project. He will be setting up the DC supplies which simulate PV modules, Power analyzers, Power supplies (to simulate the grid), and other T&M equipment in order to build a cohesive inverter testing system. The individual will also be heavily involved with bench characterization, developing a test & reliability plan

Skills

Individual must have a Masters in EE together with initmate familiarity with all aspects of solar PV inverters, modules, and silicon-based cells. Must have knowledge and experience with MPPT, and basic inverter topologies. Must have thorough familiarity with Spice modeling, and be able to program in C, as well as basic coding in Matlab.

Education : Required: Master's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
