Overview

Our client is a major international EPC Contractor with experience in Petro Chemical, Heavy Industrial, Power and major Infrastructure Projects. With projects all over the world they are a recognized competitor on mid to large scale high profile projects. You will join a major CCGT power project and may also be involved with other projects in the region. .

Position

You will be based in the UAE for the duration of your project. You will report to the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.

You will have the following skills/experience.

* At least 15 to 20 years experience on major projects.

* experience with at least 2 power plant projects

* previous experience with an EPC Contractor

* All round industry knowledge: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical etc

* At least 10 years experience in major EPC claims concluding in arbitration proceedings

* Experience preparing major arbitration case

* Experience with claim defense and claim risk management.

Skills/Educational Requirements

* Fluent English

* Previous Middle East Experience

* A Degree in QS, Engineering or similar

* Past proven experience with an EPC Contractor and on projects $200M and above combined with previous exposure to power or heavy industrial projects. Previous experience with claims exceeding $50M USD
