For our client in Venlo we are looking for a Senior Manager E-Commerce Benelux-DACH. In this position, you will develop and maintain the Benelux-DACH E-Commerce strategy in alignment with overall marketing strategy, ensure proper execution of campaigns and constantly enhance the Ecommerce proposition. You will be responsible for the commercial success, maximizing sales and profitability of the Viking Direct websites within the Benelux-DACH region. Also, you will be managing a team of online (campaign) managers/specialists and website optimisation managers/specialists. You will develop and execute tactical onsite marketing plans in line with the overall E-commerce strategy and latest (ecommerce) marketing developments. You will be responsible for all online campaign activities as well as the constant structural optimisation and improvement of all content and promotions on the websites, and ensure there are adequate process and systems in place to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the website infrastructure and functionality, the customer shopping experience,onsite and online marketing activities as well as content, online product, pricing and promotional offering.Primary Accountabilities: Translating European E-commerce strategy into Benelux-DACH strategy and initiatives and ensuring those are executed. Optimizing and improving the commercial results achieved on the Benelux-DACH websites through campaign and content optimisation. We are looking for a candidate with a Master's Degree Marketing, Business Informatics or related field. Four to seven years experience and/or training and experience in BtC/BtB E-commerce, ideally in a commodity-driven, high transaction environment. Experience in a multi-channel environment (print, online) or experience with e-shop solutions across the total value chain is preferred. Or experience in one of the following fields: E-commerce, online marketing, online category management, information technology, business process management, project management.For this position you need in-depth knowledge of e-shop systems & applications and workable knowledge of MS Office systems. You need to have excellent analytical and conceptual skills AND interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. The company language is English and next to fluency in English you need to be fluent in either German, French or Dutch. We need an Ecommerce expert marketeer with a strong blend of commercial, technical and process skills and the ability to synthesize relevant information and find commercially viable and technically feasible solutions.
