Senior Manager Online Traffic Generation Amsterdam

Are you experienced in delivering increased volumes of higher quality online traffic through creation of new programs and optimisation of existing programs?
Take up the challenge for higher quality execution in all online marketing activities to improve the performance of onsite and offsite online marketing.
Main Responsibilities:

Create, champion and deploy new online traffic generating programs.
Optimise the performance of, and develop, test and deploy new tactics within, existing traffic generating programs, including: 

Paid Search 
SEO / Link building 
Display Advertising 
Media Mix modelling 
Affiliate marketing
Remarketing / Retargeting


Create and write business requirements for new marketing and product promotion elements in the websites that will improve the effectiveness of the channels.
Increase the efficiency as well as the impact of all paid as well as natural traffic to support ROI on online traffic.
Generate increased volumes of higher quality traffic into all websites through creation of new programs & optimisation of existing initiatives across all markets.
Work with Marcoms and Sales teams to ensure consistency of campaign activity on and offline. 
Monitor the output of local online team’s marketing and give guidance for improvements where needed.
Work to develop online specific campaigns and campaign materials. 
Work with Agencies, POM team and local online teams to improve the online customer experience with the objective of converting more visitors into clients. 
Managing relationships with external networks, tools and suppliers.
Having multiple years experience in managing the traffic for complex online campaigns is a must. Experience must be gained either agency side, or managing big budget campaigns for large organisations.

8-10 years experience within Online Marketing.
Proven experience in traffic generation (SEO, SEM, online advertising and affiliate marketing).
Proven track record of managing campaigns / online media.
Expert level experience of using Google Adwords.
Experience gained at agency / client side in managing end-to-end online campaigns – addressing both online media planning, online campaign creative, landing page optimisation.
Experience in managing large volume revenue generating websites with particular responsibility for creation of the on-site merchandising elements that deliver the marketing/sales message to the consumer.
Experienced in working in an international online team / across a network of websites.
Skills needed to work across Geographies and online domains to deliver a consistently high quality online experience.
Proven track record of delivering complex high performing online campaigns on time and on budget that delivered the expected commercial results.
Expert knowledge of online media planning.
An expert knowledge of excel to be used in data compilation and analysis.
Strong numeracy & commercial modeling acumen.
Good eye for creative excellence.

Excellent relationship management skills.
Experience in sophisticated online marketing and sales operations.
Experienced in the telecom market preferred.
Fluent in English.
Capable of producing high quality documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience of working in an international corporate environment preferred.
