Top tier educational backgrounds in engineering, mathematics or CS
preferred.As a Software Engineer at ZestCash, you’ll use your Ruby on
Rails expertise along with Agile development methods to develop web-based
applications in a big data environment.  Specifically, you will:Design,
scope, and implement new systems and features—from processing financial
transactions to aggregating data on customers, to analyzing metrics and
loan performance informationWork
with Product Management, Marketing, and Business to establish features,
priorities, and timelines.  This ranges from devising an attribution
system for TV commercials, to establishing relationships with third party
data providers.Lead
and mentor more junior team members and perform as a subject matter expert
in your field of expertise.Through the use of your:Bachelor’s
degree, preferably in CS or related discipline.  Advanced degree
preferred.5+
years of experience designing and developing high transactional web
applications including 2.5 years experience using RoR.Experience
working with common Internet technologies (e.g. CSS, HTML, JavaScript,
AJAX).Experience
with RESTful API’s.Excellent
verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain
technical issues to a non-technical audience.Strong
